We received 3 inches of new snow this morning in a short amount of time, bringing our total for the past week to 22 inches, and it is still snowing hard! Conditions are absolutely amazing, and they just keep getting better. We have Sterling Lift operating with 19 trails open for intermediates and experts only at this time. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 40 inches. 4 trails have been groomed for today: Crossover, Treasure Run, Lower Exhibition, and Upper Rumrunner for a total of 21 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is snowing hard and 13 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast calls for snow showers, heavy at times, with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible, breezy, and a high of 24 degrees at the base and 17 degrees at higher elevations. Temperatures will be dropping throughout the day. Bundle up and enjoy the fantastic conditions!
