Rockin’ Ron for the Bob Gillen Snow Report Award Winner HUGH JOHNSON. 6 inches of fresh powder today and 18 inches total in last 5 days! We’re making snow on Black Snake, Lower Rumrunner, and Practice Slope. Tomorrow we plan to have the Sterling Lift operating and 14 trails open (7 Intermediate, and 7 Expert). 5 trails will be groomed including Upper Rumrunner.

NOTE for UPHILL TRAVEL: Uphill access on Sterling will remain closed due to ongoing snowmaking and grooming operations. Madonna is open, and conditions there should be greatly improved with today’s snowfall. Morse is also available tonight and tomorrow morning. After Wednesday morning, Morse will be closed as we begin to set up for snowmaking there later in the week. Mt. Ops is really appreciative of the many individuals who have paid attention to what is open and closed for uphill access. Quote from Mark “For those few who think the rules don’t apply to them, do not expect to be treated nicely this Christmas.”

This just in… a shout-out from Islands on the affordability of Smuggs. Read it here.

Ahoy Mateys! Patrol is flying the Pirate standard.
Alex and Rusty of Snowmaking check the progress on Lower Rumrunner.
