Hey Mike, I don’t believe that CCSVI is a cure for MS but, I truly do believe that, at least in my case, it has helped lessen some of the symptoms. Tho I’m still a mess ….my quality of life has improved enough for me to go on living without being put into some type of assisted living/care facility. I’m still waiting for something that’ll cure this stuff. But, in the mean time I can at least have some relief & have a semi-normal life. Much love brother. Keep doing well, it gives me hope
Mike, just like you, I am a smart person, but this fucking ccsvi bullshit tricked me!! I am so sad right now, I didnt realize what could happen! I figured, ok, fuck it, if I loose some money, its only money, but the fucked my azygos vein up and I had to put two stents in to hold the vein from bleeding! I am so sad right now, what the hell did I get my self into. I wish someone could of talked some sense in me before. I told the doctors before op.,

Never underestimate the power of placebo. The more invasive the ‘tratment’ the more powerful the effect. Scientifically sound research supports this fact.

I have to say that I agree with you about the nasty comments and so forth when someone makes a comment like yours. I also found that when I did my 2 month after video from the procedure where I was showing some improvement I got a lot of hits.
When I did my 4 month where things were starting to decline again not so many LOL. To be really honest I am still on the fence about it and have some real questions I want answered. I think I will do a video and see what happens!

I ‘believe’ in scepticism…so, I’m still sat on the fence with CCSVI. Some are for, some are against, and I just don’t know. Not sure anyone does, as things stand.
Scepticism is sometimes considered a European equivalent of Buddhism, you know – mindfulness and suspension of judgement as therapeutic relief from the driven mania of dogmatism. Glad you haven’t let the heatedness get to you
I agree with a lot of what you said. There is so much emotion associated with this issue and I think justifiably so – when CCSVI first came into our awareness it was the possibility of a cure that everybody had been hoping for, for so long. After time has passed, and yes, people have capitalised on others’ desperation, the very emotively named “liberation procedure” isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Continued:.. But in essence, there are people who have benefitted, no matter how briefly, and that seems to me like a valid avenue for research to follow. Enough hate.
